Zephaniah 1:16 (NIV)

Zephaniah was one of the minor prophets. Among his prophecies of judgment against Israel, Moab and others deserving of God’s anger is a section near the beginning of the book entitled ‘The Great Day of the Lord’. In The Sign of the Cross, I show how this day - widely prophesied in the Bible, notably in the three consecutive books of Joel, Amos and Obadiah - is the site of a major cluster of encoded numbers linking it with the events of 9/11.

Here we see yet another link formed between that day of divine retribution and the destruction wrought on 9/11. Note that the verse makes referrence to the ‘corner towers’, that its ordinal value is a rare double multiple of 11 and that 116 is 911 read upside down.

16. “a day of trumpet and battle cry against the fortified cities and against the corner towers.”

Zephaniah 1:16 (o) ...= 847 = 11 x 11 x 7

In Isaiah 31:25 another prophecy of destruction mentions the day when ‘the towers fall’. In both examples we see that the code connects these verses to 9/11 through the key number 11, the scene conjured by the verse and the image of falling towers.
