The Book of Revelation, the last and most controversial of the bible's 66 books, contains a series of unforgetable prophesies that recount, in vivid detail, events that will mark the end of our age. Since it was written, controversy has raged over just how literally these prophesies are to be taken and exactly when the prophesied events were supposed to occur, if at all. I hope that this page may shed some light on the subject.
The Watermark
The principle textual features of the Book of Revelation are watermarked with the number 11.
1. Revelation has 22 chapters. 22 = 11 x 2
2. Revelation has 404 verses. 404 = 101 x 4
3. Revelation is the bible's 66th book. 66 = 11 x 6
4. The word 'Revelation' has an ordinal value of 121, or 11 x 11
5. The 22nd and final chapter of Revelation is the bible's final chapter, chapter 1189. If the number 1189 is added to its reverse, we obtain 1189 + 9811 = 11000.
Revelation 11:7 (NIV)
Revelation 11 concerns the two witnesses. These sound suspiciously like the twin towers, especially since the chapter is Revelation’s 11th. Later in the chapter, the two witnesses are destroyed.
7. Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them.

It may also be relevant that, although September is the ninth month, the prefix 'sept' denotes the number seven.

This famous verse describes the revealing of the ark of the covenant.
19. Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a great hailstorm.

Revelation 12:1 (NIV)
The number implied by the chapter and verse is 121, the square of 11. This verse describes a celestially-clad woman.
1. A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head.

Revelation 12:9 (NIV)
In a passage describing the war in heaven between the angels of light and those of darkness, this dramatic verse describes how satan and his angels were hurled to the earth.
9. The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

Revelation 13:13 (NIV)
In verse 11 of Revelation 13, we hear of the beast with two horns like a lamb (ie blunt), but which spoke like a dragon, an obvious reference to the twin towers. Verse 13 tells us of the ability of the second beast to cause fire to come down from heaven to earth, which could also be loosely interpreted as a prophesy of the destruction of the twin towers, an interpretation again supported by gematria:
13. And he performed great and miraculous signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to earth in full view of men.
Rev 13:13 (o) = 1067 = 11 x 97
The chapter and verse indicators imply the number 1313, which is 101 x 13.
Revelation 14:16 (NIV)
The second half of Revelation 14 tells of the harvest of the earth to come. Verse 16 itself is the climax of this section and yet another prophecy of 9/11.
16. So he who was seated on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested.
Rev 14:16 (o) = 880 = 11 x 80
A numerical value associated with Jesus Christ is found within the first nine words of the verse, 9 being the biblical number of judgment, endings and finality.

Revelation 16:13 (NIV)
This verse tells us of evil spirits that come out of the mouths of the beast, the dragon and the false prophet.
13. Then I saw three evil spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

The Second Coming of Jesus Christ (s) = 1595
Revelation 18:2-3 (NIV)
In verses 2 and 3, the mighty angel foretells the destruction of Babylon.
2. With a mighty voice he shouted:
"Fallen, fallen is Babylon the Great!
She has become a home for demons and a home for every evil spirit,
a haunt for every unclean and detestable bird.
3. For all the nations have drunk the maddening wine of her adulteries.
The kings of the earth committed adultery with her,
and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries."
Rev. 18:2-3 (o) = 3355 = 11 x 305
Revelation 18:10 (NIV)
Chapter 18, verse 10 (once again encoding 181) echoes the words in verses 1 to 3, and predicts how swiftly the end will come upon Babylon, as the kings of the earth look on. The words of the terrified onlookers watching the destruction of Babylon must have been echoed on 9/11 itself, as the world watched the towers fall.
10. Terrified at her torment, they will stand far off and cry: "Woe! woe, O great city,O Babylon, city of power! In one hour your doom has come!"

In one hour (o) ..............................= 119
It took about one hour for the twin towers, the prophesied Babylon, to fall after being struck.
Revelation 19:11 (NIV)
Verse 11 concerns the rider on the white horse, who is called Faithful and True.
11. I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war.

Revelation 19:20 (NIV)
Revelation 19:20 describes the fate of the beast and the false prophet.

But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshipped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulphur.

Revelation 20:9 (NIV)
This verse tells us the fate of satan and his followers.
9. They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them.

Revelation 22:20 (NIV)
This is the Bible’s penultimate verse, where Jesus assures us he is coming soon.
20. He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen, come Lord Jesus.
